Prizes is the project of Londoner Hari Ashurst. You may have already heard his music when he released under the name Treasure, and briefly Treasures, but an uptight band with a similar moniker got possessive and so a total name change was due. Hari makes woozy, grainy, dreamy tunes of the sort that’s extremely en vogue these days, but with a clarity of sound and love for a chorus that makes them unique.
