Pale Music was founded in 2000 by Steve Morell. With his record company he wanted to build up a new platform for modern underground music. In 2003 Morell started the annual event Berlin Insane which is said to be a nowadays continuation of famous 80’s Berlin Atonal festivals. 2005 Pale Music founded his own publishing “Edition Pale Music Int.” changing its name to “Edition BLASS Music” in 2008 and cooperating with music publisher FREIBANK. In 2009 Pale Music Int. also decided to do its own distribution gaining independency.
